Next Phase

Started framing the roof over the shipping container/studios today . It is very warm and humid here in Sedona . Hopefully the roof will help the containers stay a little cooler , and also provide a way to collect the rain water from them for the garden and plant life around the yard

Studio organizing

So, getting all my tools organized and put away in the back part of shipping container, so I can set up the wheel I haven’t got yet in the front part. I am pretty sure that when I start looking for a wheel and kiln, they will show up pretty quick. Thankfully I have 2 studios that I am blessed to be working out of now. Funny though how I don’t want to let go of my carpentry tools , but I don’t really want to use them anymore . 35 years was a long time to be bangin’ nails.

New containers/studio arrival

Two new 20 ft shipping containers arrived yesterday, one will be for my wife, to create her painting studio, the other will become my tool storage, and eventually create a space for my wheel. I’ll build a roof with overhang on back where electric kiln will reside , but in the meantime it is also a place to keep my barrel and Raku kiln from sight
