Pics of the annual thanksgiving Raku fest at my studio

What a great day, starts out at 5:30 am lighting the barrel, then later in the morning a friend stopped by and we did a few pieces in a horsehair ,ferric chloride finish then threw them into reduction , later lit another kiln and did some pieces to be fumed, then did a my firt alcohol reduction firing with just one piece ,then did a regular Raku firing , and after dinner unloaded the barrel fire kiln I. What could be better , good friends, firing multiple kilns . Fun with flames and chemicals, unfortunately the first try at alcohol reduction didn’t really work pu
